Love & Lemons

I've been following Jeanine for years and her recipes never let me down. She is also a seasonal cook! Her blog makes it easy to navigate recipes based on seasons or ingredients. What I really like about this blog is that it provides alternative forms of protein other than meat. Since I typically only eat meat raised on my family's farm, it provides me with ideas for wholesome meals when my freezer is low on meat. Her recipes are typically vegetarian but I find it easy to substitute meat when I have it available. She also has great holiday cocktails and dessert ideas! Laura Lea Balanced

Laura's recipes always have a healthy spin and she sneaks in vegetables or superfoods (chia, flax, or healthy fats), into almost every dish. The ingredient list for her recipes are a bit extensive but she provides links to all the products she uses, which is helpful. I've slowly been adding certain specialty items, such as coconut sugar, almond flour, and spirulina. She is very active on Instagram, especially on her Instagram stories. She shows her follows what she's eating and explains how to meal prep for easy weeknight meals. She doesn't eat strictly vegetarian but she makes sure the majority of her ingredients are vegetables. Her dessert recipes are also always huge hit! Click the carrot to visit her website.

Pinch of Yum

Being a college student, sometimes I just want a quick, easy, and healthy meal. I love cooking and baking but certain recipes can be pretty time consuming. Lindsay, the author of the Pinch of Yum website, makes cooking simple, yet delicious. Under the "dinner" category, she has subcategories such as, "5-ingredient dinners" and "quick and easy dinners." This is my go-to place for dinner ideas after a long day. She also has great gluten-free recipes, which I turn to if I'm cooking with my mom. She often uses a slow cooker or an Instant Pot, which is a wonderful time saver! Click on the apple to visit her website.
